Set in an imposing position on the hill, surrounded by panoramic views of the Dordogne countryside, Chez Tintin provides a rural idyll. The nearest neighbours are 100 yards down a track (they grow and sell delicious organic tomatoes) and you are ten minutes drive from the town of Piegut-Pluviers with all it's amenities and, on Wednesdays, the largest outdoor market in the region.
The largest of the horseshoe of period barns has been stylishly converted into a five bedroom conversation. All bedrooms have en suite shower/bath facilities and are of similar large size. Two of the bedrooms have a larger Jack n' Jill bathroom between them which is an ideal set-up for parents with young children. The four bedrooms upstairs are linked with an oak and glass walkway, allowing for double height ceilings over the downstairs dining area which is largely open-plan.
A fifth bedroom, with ensuite bathroom is situated downstairs, together with a well-equipped kitchen complete with washing machine, dishwasher and additional wine fridge.
Outside, the larger than average heated pool is equipped with a hard, automatic key-controlled cover ensuring complete safety when not in use. It is of uniform depth save for an internal shallower section at one end. The pool is surrounded by a generous patio area, with dining for ten and outdoor sofa seating with shade sail.
